When I was a child, the only LP record in our house was my mum's soundtrack album to the film musical South Pacific. By the age of ten I knew every note and word of every song, and it has been a cornerstone of my life. Some Enchanted Evening, from Act 1, remains one of Rodgers and Hammerstein's greatest and most-covered songs, and its title seemed very apt for the intimate atmosphere of this image.
